Ampifly Science
Amplify Science is a hands‑on, inquiry‑based science program that helps elementary students learn science the way real scientists do—by investigating, asking questions, testing ideas, and explaining their thinking. It blends reading, writing, experiments, and digital tools so children build deep understanding of scientific concepts and learn to think critically about the world around them.
Amplify Science covers all major areas of elementary science:
- Life Science — Plants, animals, habitats, ecosystems, and how living things grow and survive.
- Earth & Space Science — Weather, landforms, natural resources, and patterns in the sky.
- Physical Science — Motion, matter, energy, and how objects interact.
- Engineering — Designing solutions to real‑world problems using creativity and teamwork.
Each unit begins with a real‑world problem or mystery that students work to solve through investigation.
Amplify Science uses a blend of approaches that help students learn deeply:
- Hands‑on investigations — Students experiment, build models, and test ideas.
- Science notebooks — Children record observations, draw diagrams, and explain their thinking.
- Interactive digital simulations — Students explore scientific ideas that can’t be easily recreated in a classroom.
- Reading & writing in science — Students read age‑appropriate science texts and write explanations using evidence.
- Collaborative discussions — Children talk through ideas with classmates, just like scientists do.
